The Afro-Cuban religion of Regla de Ocha aka Santeria is the engine that drives this tale taking place in Spanish Harlem during a hot Summer in 1993. Cardiac Nurse Negra Centron has a childhood secret which has stifled her growth and tormented her life. "A Wound In Time" has characters from diverse ethnic, social, cultural, religious, and sexually orientated groups and deals with the social issues that arise in diversity. "A Wound In Time" is political in that sense, and it is high drama in the sense of the Greek Tragedy.
