A groundbreaking new two-hour documentary, explores one of the country’s most urgent, preventable health crises—uncovering the layered truth about how and why HIV is so much worse in black America and revealing how prejudice, silence and stigma have allowed the virus to spread deep into the black community.

The program is premiering on PBS on Tuesday, July 10 at 9 pm ET and features personal stories from people with HIV, Magic Johnson, civil rights pioneer Julian Bond, health workers, activists and black pastors around the US.
