Bare Hands Print Anthology
We at Bare Hands Towers are delighted to announce that there will be a print anthology coming out in October 2012 to celebrate our first birthday! A print anthology made of paper, all bound together, full of gorgeous poems and photographs. We’ve had such an exciting year with all of you so far - each issue of the magazine has totalled over a thousand reads, a thousand! This first print venture is going to mark an important change in Bare Hands, and our second year is full of surprises that are already under way.
Now, in order to make this gorgeous anthology happen, we need your help. Of course we need your poetry and photography to fill it up, but we also need our readers’ support to bring it into the world. You can be our midwives. We’ve just launched a Fundit campaign, so we’ll join the epic ranks of Storymap and The Poetry Bus. Look at it as just buying a copy of the anthology in advance - you hit our Fundit up with a meager eight euro, you’re guaranteed a copy of the book to be sent to you for free. We’ve other gifts in store for the kind people who donate more than this, check them out here!
So, while we get our Fundit campaign up and running, write us some poetry and take us some photographs! Our deadline is September 1st 2012 - that gives you loads of time. We will be publishing 15 photographs and 25 poems altogether. It’ll be amazing! All contributors will receive two copies of the print journal.
To submit simply send maximum three poems or photographs (you are welcome to send both) to barehandspoetry@gmail.com with ‘Anthology Submission’ in the subject field. Please send the poems within the body of the email and attach the photographs as jpegs. We can’t wait to see your work!
