Fiction Writing Contest by Cavewriters.com
Stress and writing fiction are commonly intertwined with each other. People seem to experience a sense of anxiety when it comes to writing, when it should actually be a release of emotion and stress. Think of it as going to the psychiatrist, without the strain on your wallet. By no means does fiction writing substitute going to the shrink, but it can definitely help you deal with your stress levels.
The Benefits of Writing Fiction (Not Just the Contest We Are Holding)
Writing fiction can bring you from reality and into your own world. It can allow you to evaluate your life through various “fake” characters, situations, and allow you to mold your own story. Releasing yourself from the bonds of the world can emancipate your brain from constant self-reflection and predictions of the future. We are all fortune tellers, historians and biographers within, we just need to move on into a world of what if. Take a vacation through fiction, you are worth it, and so is the reward!
