Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Prize
A prize of 1,000 euros (approximately $1,290) and publication in Southword is given annually for a poem. The winner also receives some travel expenses, as well as lodging and meals, to give a reading at the Cork Spring International Poetry Festival in Cork, Ireland, in February. Thomas McCarthy will judge. Submit one poem with a $7 entry fee or five poems with a $26 entry fee, each of up to 40 lines, by December 15. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
