Midwest Short Fiction Contest
We’re happy to announce The Laurel Review’s first annual Midwest Short Fiction Contest! The contest is open to anyone who is living in, from, or closely associated with the Midwest. The winning story will be published in The Laurel Review. The winning writer will also receive two contributor’s copies and an opportunity to read at Northwest Missouri State University with an honorarium of $250, plus travel expenses and accommodations. Finalists will also be considered for publication.
Submissions must be postmarked between February 1, 2011 and June 1, 2011. There’s a $10 entry fee.
