About Will Hall, Inc.
Will Hall, Inc. is a non-profit organization for the arts.
The mission of Will Hall, Inc. is threefold: books for children;, chapbooks for emerging writers (handmade, hand-sewn, 25 pp.) who manifestly deserve a broader readership; and, third, educational assistance to any artists, regardless of discipline, for the opportunity to travel, attend conferences, or complete coursework.
Will Hall, Inc., which includes the title, Will Hall Books, is a 501(c)3 tax deductible public foundation whose mission is literary and cultural. Our philosophy holds that encouragement to authors, photographers, artists, and musicians is essential to the well-being of a civilized world. We publish books, donate to libraries, and, in doing so, give a "boost" to children and individual artists.
Our most recent endeavors have been supplying an honorarium for Irish Poet, Matthew Sweeney, to read in Fayetteville, donating money to enable a scholar to complete the editing of a book, and providing a scholarship fund for a music student to study in Italy. We are proud to be able to support the efforts of these and other talented individuals.
"Non-profits exist to meet a need or solve a problem that exists outside of them. Since it is art that translates one generation to the next, art is a quality-of-life need that cannot be disputed."
