Phoebe welcomes submissions to our 2010 Winter Fiction Contest. The author of the winning story will receive $1,000 and publication in the fall 2011 issue of Phoebe.

Contest entries should include one story of up to 7,500 words. Novel excerpts will not be considered. All entries should include a cover letter with the submission’s title and author contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address). Your name and contact information must not appear anywhere else on the story. You may submit multiple entries, but the entry fee must be paid for each story.

Please enclose the $15 entry fee (check or money order payable to Phoebe/GMU), and a SASE for contest results. Manuscripts will not be returned. Contest finalists will receive a copy of the fall 2011 issue. Contest entries postmarked after December 15th, 2010, will not be considered.
