Nice short (22-minute) profiling Misty Copeland - one of 3 African American female soloists for the American Ballet Theatre in 2 decades; As of 2008, she’s been the only African American woman in the dance company for her entire American Ballet Theatre career; there hasn’t been a male African American in the company since 2005. I figure it’s only a matter of time before she’s in the movies… maybe Black Swan 2. She’s black after all :) (thanks Emmett):
