Here’s another selection that was screened at the Pan African Film Festival this year.
Directed by Darryl Pitts, the documentary Kiss And Tell recalls some of our favorite black couples in films.
Synopsis:
A poignant, thought-provoking film in which actors, directors and producers discuss movies that inspired them, what it takes to make a great love story and scenes that touched them emotionally. Actually two films in one, Kiss and Tell is entertaining, with stories told by people “in the know” but also a clear social critique of how and where we are going with Black cinematic images. Narrated by Sheryl Lee Ralph, with commentary by Nia Long, Diahann Carroll, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Roger Ebert among others.
