Afro-house, rhythm and funk have been skilfully blended in Kato Change's new single, Sta.Ka.To. Kato's charming guitar tunes fuse with Lisa Oduor-Noah's silky voice, creating an enchanting sound that reverberates through the soul.
Diversity is well represented in the video, which is centered on Kato's trademark hat. People of different backgrounds wear the hat, which is shared and experienced in a similar way to music.
You last saw Kato Change on Miss Karun's (Camp Mulla) cover of Labrinth's Last Time, which you can check out here. Lisa Oduor-Noah collaborated with Just A Band and Jahcoozi on the BLNRB Project single, Room For Me, which made it to the Welcome To The Madhouse album. Jaaz has produced--probably the best song of the year--Africa Massive this year and The Freedom Mixtape project.
The song leaves you to question what brilliant talent, freedom and unity cannot achieve. The single is enriched by the masterpieces of music producer Jaaz Odongo and videography of Magiq Lens. Check out the Sta.Ka.To video below.
