I normally would not give comment on such a basic question being asked in this video..."Where Do You Live" ? When I was her age My response probably wouldn't have been any more advance...it's not so much are we better off with other educational skills~~we really have to address the issue of 'backwardness'...With most elder people some times you have a yearning to get back to an earlier period in one's life force...there are certain drawbacks with so called progress "Capitalism" destroys you from the very roots of your mother tongue, your whole conception of even God, nature, sex, money is forever changed...been here some 39 years and went back to Victoria, in Grenada 3 years ago as soon as I departed the airport you could feel the vibrations of a spirit beckoning the return of a native son...I was not born here, but after years of wandering through my ancestral streams of migration I had finally made the return...Let me explain, even though I was birthed in Virginia I still had bloodlines in Grenada and to the soil...this migration of people's goes back to the slavery period when one of your mothers sister may have been left in Aruba and another relative in St. Vincent....the vast expanse of the Caribbean Sea is no more than a series of people going from one island to another...Malcolm X mother was Grenadian and he was birthed in Lansing, Michigan none the less his ancestors streams of consciousness was all over the archipelago of Caribbean islands...The young lady and the question of where do you live? is tied to her knowing her time and space and a sense of home...We spirits of the dead living in the USA or Britian still feel dis-connect to the soil...African killing one another, hating there own guts my foolish neighbors up the road murdered their own father... In the Caribbean there is problems of underdevelopment and people not getting along, but not to the extent of fratricidal tendencies as in America...After you get older you want to unlearn what the west had taught you..."Where Do You Live" ? The sad tale that hasn't been told is that this young lady will one day probably be encourage to go to America and leave here for brighter future not knowing that you could go to the west and embrace Capitalism and hate becoming the whore that America will turn you into....only until a new mindset is establish in Africa, Caribbean and all so call third world countries where this young girl is asking " Where Do You Live" Mr. West in America, Britian, Europe? Nice place to visit, but I would rather be here...
